Like Man of Steel and Batman V Superman before it, Wonder Woman won’t have a post credits stinger. Suicide Squad had a little thing further setting up the Justice League, but it seems like DC Films feels as if it’s not really needed all the time.
Cinemablend has a quote from Producer Charles Roven where he explains why Wonder Woman doesn’t have a post-credits stinger:
“I’m not going to say we’d never do one. … There was one in Suicide Squad. But I don’t think that we want to feel that we’re forced to do something just because we didn’t in the past.”
You don’t really need a teaser for Justice League in the Wonder Woman credits as the trailer will play before the movie. Likewise Justice League wouldn’t need to tease Aquaman as that trailer will play in November.
Obviously the “destroy DC” critics will use this as another weapon to attack the movie with. But reactions from early screenings are so positive, they’ll be screaming into a hurricane by the time the movie releases in a week and a half.
