The Success of Pokémon GO Reignites Live Action Movie Talk


pokemon-goWith Pokémon GO making Nintendo’s stock skyrocket and reports that it’s been downloaded some fifteen million times (more people than own a Wii U), Hollywood wants in on the craze once again.

Deadline reports that Legendary is close to securing the film rights to do a live action Pokémon movie. There was apparently one in the works in the past with Max Landis writing the script, but it’s unknown if this will be a version of that movie or a completely new idea.

Whatever they do, they should hire RJ Palmer to design the live action Pokémon:
