Tomorrow comes the highly-anticipated release of the extra-large DC Rebirth one-shot that promises to seriously change the current DC Comics Universe. But even if you’re not happy with the $2.99 issue, Geoff Johns has you covered.
He told ComicBook.com that he’ll buy back issues from any angry fans:
“If anyone wants to check out comics, wants to check out DC Universe Rebirth #1 and doesn’t like it, they can mail [the comicbook] to Warner Bros., to me, and I will send them a check, I literally will, for both postage and for the book. I will buy all these books back because I believe in this issue a lot. I think it’ll do very well. I hope it does well. But I seriously will, I’ll buy back this book.”
Based on the spoilers that have leaked out already, it’s hard to believe any DC fan would be upset with how Johns fixes the DC Universe with Rebirth (well, maybe Alan Moore is).
