Despite the Hollywood establishment trying their best to sabotage Batman V Superman’s box office (even with articles last month saying it’ll flop), Zack Snyder’s latest comic book movie has shattered box office records.

According to Exhibitor Relations, Batman V Superman broke every pre-summer and Easter box office record with a $170.1 million opening:

Holy Easter Egg, Batman! BATMAN V SUPERMAN punched up $170.1M in its debut–6th best opening weekend of all-time.

In addition to being the 6th highest opening of all time, it’s also Warner Bros. biggest opening of all time:

With $170.1M, BATMAN V SUPERMAN is WB's largest opening ever, surpassing HARRY POTTER: DEATHLY HOLLOWS PT. 2 ($169.1M).

So much for being a flop.
