Those worried about not being able to try Star Wars: Battlefront when the beta goes live next month can rest easy now.
EA has announced that the upcoming Battlefront beta will be open to all, regardless of what platform you want to play on:
” Yes, we have a beta incoming and the final date will be announced as soon as we have the final details locked in. For now, I can tell you this: the beta will consist of both our offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op, and it will take place on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and via Origin for PC, so we have you covered regardless of your next generation platform of choice.”
The Battlefront beta will consist of the Hoth Walker Assault and Tatooine Survival maps, which means it’s basically the E3 demo just being released to the public. We posted impressions of Walker Assault from E3 right here. The Battlefront beta should begin in a few weeks.
