Boba Fett in Disney Infinity is PlayStation Exclusive at Launch

If you want to play with Boba Fett in Disney Infinity this fall, you’re going to need to own a PlayStation system.

Much like the marketing deal Sony had with Disney for last year’s game, which saw the Hulk be a timed-PlayStation exclusive, the same thing is true with Boba Fett this year. That doesn’t mean you’ll never be able to get Boba Fett if you have a Wii or Xbox, just at launch he’ll only be available in the Special Edition release for the Sony systems.

If you have a PS3 or PS4 you can spend a lot of extra money for the Special Edition of Disney Infinity 3.0 that includes the following.

  • (1) Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition video game software
  • (1) Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set piece, (1) Ahsoka Tano figure, (1) Anakin Skywalker figure
  • (1) Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set piece, (1) Luke Skywalker figure, (1) Princess Leia figure
  • (1) Boba Fett figure
  • (1) Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition base
  • (1) Web Code card (unlocks content for PC/mobile)

The standard edition of Infinity 3.0 is available on every platform, but it won’t include Boba Fett. Eventually he’ll be released as a solo figure just like the Hulk was in 2.0. We’re at E3 right now and by the time you’re reading this we’ll be going hands on with Disney Infinity 3.0, so expect more later.
