The X-Files Revival May Bring Back the Peacock Family

Every X-Files fan remembers the inbred Peacock family. The second episode of season four, “Home”, has gone down in history as the scariest episode of The X-Files ever…and it could be getting a long-awaited sequel.

Now TV Line is reporting that the second episode of the revival is titled “Home Again”, and it’s written by one of the original writers:

“For starters, Episode 2 of the six-episode continuation is titled “Home Again.” What’s more, the writer-director of the episode is Glen Morgan, who just so happened to pen the the original “Home” with fellow X scribe James Wong.”

And it’ll be a monster of the week episode:

“Remember the freakish Peacock clan at the center of “Home”? Well, “Home Again” may out-Monster of the Week those inbred savages via “Band-Aid Nose Man.” Described as intimidating, odd, weary, creepy and immeasurably strong, Mr. Man is a powerful, violent and frightening “thought” come to life.”

It’ll be hard to live up to the original Home, but we’ll know how scary this one will be when it airs early next year.
