Avengers: Infinity War Will Film Back-to-Back Over 9 Months

While it’s been suspected for a while, there’s now confirmation that both parts of Avengers: Infinity War will film back-to-back over a period of nine months.

Collider found the quote from Chris Evans in Esquire that explains how long they’ll be filming for:

“That’s going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back.”

The Russo Bros. will go from directing Captain: America Civil War to directing the two-part Avengers sequel where Thanos finally gets the lucky charms he wants so bad. Part 1 isn’t due until 2018, so there will be a good long break between the end of filming and release.
