JJ Abrams\’ Force Awakens Panel Will Be Live Streamed

Those who are unable to attend Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim this weekend won’t have to miss the big event that will kick off the show. Lucasfilm has announced a deal with Verizon to live stream the JJ Abrams panel for The Force Awakens on Thursday.

StarWars.com announced the news today:

Launching with a live stream of the highly-anticipated kickoff panel featuring Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy, the StarWars.com Celebration live stream powered by Verizon will continue providing coverage throughout the four-day event from a specially-designed Star Wars Cantina set located in the middle of the action on the convention floor.

Everything kicks off at 10:00am Pacific on Thursday morning. You’ll be able to view everything right on the official site at StarWars.com.

We’ll be at the panel in the convention center, and will update live from Star Wars Celebration as soon as an internet connection a allows it. Also expect a ton of great photos from the show over the weekend, beginning with a big gallery covering the first two days on Friday night.
