Nightcrawler is in X-Men: Apocalypse

Nightcrawler_Amazing_XThe popular teleporting mutant may have been absent from Days of Future Past, but Bryan Singer is bringing back Nightcrawler for X-Men: Apocalypse.

Singer revealed on his Instagram that Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road, Let the Right One In, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) has been cast as the younger version of Kurt Wagner. He’ll be joining the younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, and the First Class cast members to fight Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse.

As fans complained that Nightcrawler was missing from the last movie (especially in the future scenes), and with his solo book doing pretty well, it makes a lot of sense for Fox to cash in with this installment. The big question remains whether or not Wolverine will make an appearance, and who will play the younger Logan.
