agents-of-shield-kreeHere’s something we’ve known for a long time. Ever since the episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with the G.H. facility aired, we’ve been letting you know that the giant blue body is a Kree. After Guardians of the Galaxy introduced the Kree to the masses, it was surprising we didn’t get confirmation of that from Marvel, but now we have.

In an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Jeffrey Bell confirms the Kree suspicion:

“Our people don’t know anything about the Kree or that there’s a planet full of them,” notes executive producer Jeffrey Bell. “What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?”

He also connects Skye and Raina with a massive Inhuman hint:

“You’ll find out that Skye and Raina have something in common — and it’s not that they’re brunettes,” Bennet says with a laugh. “Some of our überfans think the two of them are aliens. Or maybe they’re something else — something different and special. It’s all leading to a reveal that’s mother-effing crazy.”

Inhumans aren’t aliens. They’re humans, from this planet, but they just have alien DNA in them. That’s what makes them different and special. That alien DNA just needs a little trigger…
