Is Fox Hiding \’Fantastic Four\’ From San Diego Comic Con?

Fantastic Four

You won’t see the Fantastic Four reboot at SDCC this year…

Fox’s “Fantastic Four” reboot, considered by many a rush-job just to keep the license from Marvel, is due to be released on June 19, 2015. That’s less than a year away, and a month before the 2015 San Diego Comic Con. You’d think with fans being as skeptical as they are about this potentially “found footage” interpretation of Fantastic Four that Fox would bring it to this year’s convention in San Diego. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they are.

Despite the movie being well into production and filming underway, meaning they could at least show something, the movie is not part of the studio’s Hall H panel at this year’s Comic Con. They’re bringing Let’s Be Cops, The Maze Runner, The Book of Life, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and Hitman: Agent 47 to the Con, but no Fantastic Four.

X-Men: Days of Future Past was a huge part of last year’s San Diego Comic Con, and you can be sure X-Men: Apocalypse will be there next year. For Fox to not bring Fantastic Four, less than a year before its out, to the biggest stage they could show it off on means that those rumors fans are afraid about could very well be true…
