Call of Duty fans are probably well aware of Robert Bowling and his recent battles with burglars at the Robotoki offices. Over the last few months the internet has been treated with security camera video of Bowling fighting off burglars trying to break into the office, as well as stories of him tripping security on accident. After all this time FPS fans were wondering what the studio has been working on, and now we know.
Human Element will be an “an open-world first-person survival title” described in the announcement as a MMOFPS. It’ll be set thirty-five years after the zombie apocalypse and you’ll be able to create multiple human survivors in a game that combines action, strategy and resource management. No screens are available yet, but the game will run on CryEngine and be released on the PC sometime in fourth quarter 2015.
Human Element joins other MMOFPS games in the zombie apocalypse genre such as SOE’s H1Z1 and Steam darling DayZ. Will the Call of Duty pedigree be enough to make it stand out?
