DC Putting Batman on Every Cover in July

|

batmaneternalThere’s a running joke among comic readers that DC puts out way too many Batman books every month. Not even counting the recent addition of the weekly Batman Eternal limited series, even “non-Batman” books are becoming “Batman books” such as Earth 2’s new focus on that universe’s version of Batman. That’s not even counting books like Batman/Superman and out-of-continuity series like the video-game based Injustice and Infinite Crisis comics.

Those who have become fed up with DC just focusing on Batman had better advert their eyes when they hit their local comic shop in July. According to Newsarama, DC is giving just about every one of the New 52 titles a Batman variant that month to celebrate the 75th anniversary. These are the titles that will have the caped crusader on their cover:

ACTION COMICS #33
AQUAMAN #33
BATGIRL #33
BATMAN #33
BATMAN AND ROBIN #33
BATMAN/SUPERMAN #13
BATWOMAN #33
DETECTIVE COMICS #33
EARTH 2 #25
GRAYSON #1
GREEN LANTERN #33
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #33
HARLEY QUINN #8
JUSTICE LEAGUE #33
JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #33
JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED #3
SUPERMAN #33
SUPERMAN/WONDER WOMAN #10
TEEN TITANS #1
THE FLASH #33
WONDER WOMAN #33

So in July, every DC comic book really will be a “Batman book”.
