Back when both the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II were released on the NES, they both came on shiny gold cartridges. The tradition continued with Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64, but with games moving to disc media; it kind of went away for a while. With The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword due this Thanksgiving, Nintendo is bringing the gold back.
Today they announced that in addition to the standard $49.99 version of the game, there will be a special edition available for $69.99 that includes a golden Wii Remote Plus. $20 extra for the Wii Remote Plus is actually a pretty good deal, seeing as how the game reportedly requires Wii Motion Plus, which is built into the newer controllers.
On top of the controller, all first printings of the game (both the standard and SE) will include an audio CD with music from the recent 25th Anniversary Zelda orchestra.
