Jon Favreu says we won\’t see Iron Man cameos in Thor

If you waited until the credits finished rolling at the end of Iron Man 2, you would have seen the hammer, which sets us up for the new Thor movie. We’ve now seen Captain America’s shield and Thor’s hammer, but will we see Robert Downey Jr. in either of those two upcoming films?

Favreu states that outside of the Easter eggs he’s been laying down, we won’t be seeing Tony Stark in anything until the Avengers movie is released.

“[Downey’s] not in Thor, he’s not in Cap which are the two movies for next Summer.” He continued, “I’m not sure where ‘The Avengers goes. There is no shooting draft written yet. It’s gonna be a big undertaking for Marvel to actually incorporate what happened in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America [and] The Hulk. All that has to inform one unified vision in The Avengers. It’s a very exciting prospect. And certainly, Tony Stark is not going to be involved in any of the movies until that one.”

Check out a clip of Favreu talking about how Captain America’s shield made it into the last movie.
