Binge worthy: The 100

Are you looking for a show to watch while everything is slowly coming back from hiatus? Look no further than the CW’s The 100, which will start its fourth season February 1st.

The 100, based on Kass Morgan’s Young Adult book series, is set in a dystopian future where humans have been residing on a space station for three generations, while the Earth has been exposed to social radiation. Now as the ARC (as they call their space station) is losing air, they must see if Earth can still be inhabitable. What’s the best way to test this? By sending 100 juvenile prisoners down there. The first season resembles a strong Lord of the Flies vibe as the teens try to establish law and order. In seasons two and three the characters undergo several transformations and encounter treacherous obstacles. Over the past three years, this TV show has adopted a cult following with very passionate fans. It makes sense because the show is extremely addicting and the seasons are short (the longest encompasses 16 episodes) so it is a breeze to watch.

As you begin your journey to the ground, here are some episodes to keep an eye out for:

In this action packed first episode, the cast is immediately thrown together as the 100 embark on their journey to Earth. We meet all the key players: Clarke, Finn, Octavia, Bellamy, Monty and Jasper as they come to terms with being the first humans back on Earth in hundreds of years. But are they truly alone?

1.04- Murphy’s Law
In this episode, you see how savage the remaining 100 have become when John Murphy is accused of killing one of their own. This is also when Clarke and Bellamy finally establish order.

2.15- Blood Must Have Blood: Part 1

In this first part of the season 2 finale, the grounders and camp Jaha work together to save their people from Mt. Weather. But when there’s a change in plan, Clarke must take everyone’s lives into her own hands.

3.16- Perverse Instantiation: Part 2
In the 2nd part of the season 3 finale the group finally comes together to confront a mutual foe. We finally learn how the Earth was destroyed and once again lives are put on the line.
Season 4 of the 100 premieres on the CW February 1st at 9.
