CBS\’s Supergirl May be Set in the Arrowverse

SupergirlDespite the CW’s two DC Comics series being forbidden to mention either Gotham or Metropolis, one of those restrictions could lift in the future. The reason is that the Supergirl series destined for CBS, may actually end up being set in the “Arrowverse”

According to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (via KsiteTV), a crossover is a possibility:

“Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it’s possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.”

Hopefully things work out and they’ll be able to do this. Arrow and Flash being on the CW makes it easy, but would CBS allow their series to cross-over? It would sure be a ratings hit for both networks if it happens…
