Despite NASA revealing their new rocket, this is the coolest science story of the week. Paleontologists in Alberta have discovered dinosaur feathers encased in amber. This is the first time real three-dimensional dinosaur features have been discovered.
Dinsosaurs having feathers has been an aspect of them known for quite a while now. Impressions of feathers have been found years ago, but these amber fossils are the first real feathers discovered. They were found in Alberta and are dated to the late Cretaceous period.
