Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 Coming to PSN/XBLA

|

2011 marks the 15th Anniversary of Capcom’s Biohazard (Resident Evil to us yanks) series, and to mark the occasion there are a couple cool things on the way. In addition to the long-rumored Slant Six developed multi-player Resident Evil: Raccoon City finally expected to see a reveal soon; Capcom is re-releasing Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 in HD forms on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. While those in Japan will be able to buy the two on a single disc later this year, US fans are only going to be able to download them to their consoles.

PlayStation 3 owners can (without having a backwardly compatible) launch console play the entire mainline Resident Evil series on their system once this is released. Resident Evils 1, 2, and 3 are already available on PSN and Resident Evil 5 is in stores. Once these downloads are released you can play through the entire main series.
